About us

Jacobson Sinai Academy is situated on the Carolyn Kemelhor Campus of Temple Sinai: 14-acre, wooded and secluded grounds adjacent to the Michael Ann Russell Jewish Community Center. Our grounds provide a safe, expansive and lush environment over-seen in North Miami since 1973. Jacobson Sinai Academy has been providing parents with the right balance and equal focus of education and spiritual growth. Our goal is to educate the whole child and to prepare students to participate successfully in an ever-changing global society. Our student body has a unique cultural diversity originated by students from over 17 countries. Our strong passion is developing lifelong learners, we continue three languages of instruction: English, Hebrew and Spanish. We are proud to be one of the few South Florida Private Schools to boast accreditation by the FCIS, (Florida Council of Independent Schools) and have membership in PARDES (Progressive Association of Reform Day Schools) and DAANS (Dade Association of Academic Non-Public Schools).

Early Childhood Center

Jacobson Sinai Academy Early Childhood Education Center provides a stimulating curriculum using developmentally appropriate materials, within a safe, secure environment. Acknowledging that each age and stage of development has its own integrity, our hands-on, creative approach focuses on the development of the whole child. Our goal is to provide a supportive and nurturing setting which encourages children to develop socially, physically, emotionally and intellectually at their own pace. Successful children feel good about their accomplishments and themselves.

Lower School

In the Jacobson Sinai Academy Elementary School Division, our professional and dedicated staff guides students to achieve the highest levels of ethical as well as academic excellence. Our students understand that excellence demands character and integrity. Our developmentally appropriate curriculum challenges each student to stretch intellectually. The degree of that stretch depends on the uniqueness of each child. Our goal is to foster the creativity and stimulate the intellect of each child.

Middle School

The Bergmann Upper School curriculum is specifically designed to meet the intellectual, social and emotional needs of the early adolescent. Our academically rigorous program includes the core subjects: English/Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies and Hebrew/Judaica. Study skills are emphasized, giving students the tools they will need for a lifetime of success. Our graduates' record of success in both public and private high schools is second to none in South Florida.
